Been reading on here for a while, first time posting. I searched and read quite a few fuel-related threads.
The fuel pump and filters were replaced on this tractor 3 or 4 years ago. It only gets used a few hours a summer for mowing and a little plowing.
I was plowing today and unfortunately ran dry of fuel. So I put in 5 gallons and it still doesn't want to start. After doing some reading I opened two screws on top of the fuel filters. Nothing came out at first, then bubbles, then a steady stream. Then I opened the bleeder on the pump and cranked it over til I had a steady stream. Then I opened the three bolts on top of the injectors. After several 15-20 second cranks still nothing came out.
Looking for some input on what to do. I can get fuel filters tomorrow and see if that helps. But I was able to get fuel in the bleeders on top of the filters so I guess they aren't completely clogged. Surely I don't need a new fuel pump this soon. Thanks for any input.
Here are the bleeders I opened.
