NAA charging

Hey guys!
Just wondering, my NAA is charging at 6.73 volts when I check across battery with volt meter. My question is, is that sufficient? If you guys say it is then I'm good with that. I have read where it should be 7.2 volts to 7.4 volts in a perfect world. Just wanted to know your thoughts.
Thanks so much for your time!!

ou need to compare the battery voltage after sitting overnight to the battery voltage after running at speed for 15-30 minutes, then we can give an informed opinion.

ditto what jmor said.

ps, these genny are very rpm dependent.. they dont charge much at idle. best to test with rpms at pto rated rpm

My test was done after I ran the tractor down the road for about 30 minutes, then returned to shop and checked voltage with engine about 12-1500 RPM's. The charging rate seemed to be steady at 6.73 volts. Seems to do the right thing when I crank the tractor cold. It charges somewhat higher than normal by the amp gauge and slowly works back down after a few minutes of running. Hope this information helps.
