A big thank you to the group 730 loader

I wanted to take a minute to thank all of those who helped me on this forum in my efforts to get this loader installed and working.

I attached some photos. She's bad to the bones and I moved my first log (12' and about 1000#) without a hitch :)

Looks great, and congratulations. That loader is about the right size. You will find it very handy. Keep in mind though that you will need significant weight added to the back to get any real heavy work done. Load the tires, add more weight, and consider using a very heavy 3 pt. hitch weight on the back for the heavy stuff. Good luck!

I've added 320 lbs per rear tire in ring weights and the scraper is now back on as well.

Looking for 4-6 50lb suitcase weights (at garage sale prices) to hang off of the scraper blade when needed.

Brought the old original 500lb front end weight home (about 5 miles) in the bucket (no 3pt scraper at that point) and never felt unbalanced in the front (although there's some significant steering differences, at higher speeds, with that loader on it now).

Picked up a 1000lb 12' oak log from a hillside with it so far and nothing felt close to being dangerous in terms of weight distribution (so far). Definitely would like to go the suitcase weight approach in the near future.
