Ford 600...diesel?

It does have the 600 series sheet metal and badge on the front, but if it's got a diesel engine it has to be an '01 series or later or have had the engine replaced. Since the transmission is stamped with 40303D, which is a 1961 or 1962 4000 Light Industrial model with a diesel engine, and it's got the diesel engine that matches the stamping, at least the engine and transmission are from a 4000.

I would say you are right.
Rear end has the two horizontal bars across
the differential. 01 fenders. 4 sp. I don't
see a sherman.
Looks like a script hood.
Lousy photos.
Tires are 24s and look decent. That is well
worth it. The PS alone is worth his asking
price.

It's a hybrid.

Looks like only the emblem and possibly hood are from a 6*0.

Yes it is. Read my first reply. It appears to be a 4000 light industrial with 600 series hood and badge.
