Hi
How does the swing chain for the boom on a older ford backhoe actually work? Is there a sprocket on the boom or a pin? You can move the boom side to side quite a bit and the chain does not move, and when you use the joy sticks it is very "jumpy" or jerky. Is this a reasonably easy fix? Have a chance to buy this rig and wondering how big a deal it is. I realize the cylinders pull the chain and both cylinders are single action. Thanks for any info.
