Speaking of fords or new hollands can some one explain their number system for model numbers- 2 digit or 4 digit and what is a Boomer ?

A Boomer is a very light utility or overgrown garden tractor. It comes in several different horsepowers.

Beyond that, It would take until Jesus comes again (if He tarries yet awhile now) to go through all the numbering/lettering conventions Ford/New Holland has used over the years.

I wouldn't rate a Boomer as a overgrown garden tractor.I got a 1530 4x4 with Super steer that I ted, rake , and seed with. Has a lift capacity of 1900 pounds and handles a 5'6 Brillion really well.
