01 series rear fender replacement

Anyone got any tips to remove old fenders from brackets? Looks like they are spot welded on and new ones have holes to bolt to brackets.

Figured is check if anyone has done it before I tear into them

Often they can be removed by muscle power due to corrosion.

If not, grind through the fender from the inside at the spot welds.

may work better from the outside Dean , lol as the bracket is on the inside

Depends upon which you consider "inside."

I consider the seat inside and the tire outside.
