I9-425/730 loader chatty upward movement

Hi Folks

I'm almost having my I9-425/730 loader ready to go.

ALL LOADER MOVEMENT when the 1969 Ford 3400 agricultural tractor is IDLING IS SMOOTH AS GLASS.

However, when REV'D UP in RPM, the UPWARD MOVEMENT GETTING CHATTY (not moving nearly as smooth as when idling)

Question: From the pictures I've attached, is there a screen type filter in the loader WHICH MAY NEED CLEANING WHICH MIGHT BE THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE CHATTY UPWARD MOVEMENT. I'm guessing that this might be an item to clean (maybe the flow above idle is being restricted by it)?

also check that hose and the hose at the pump.. .when the pump is sucking faster, the hoses will collapse and choke off the flow... they must be reinforced hoses... filter at bottom is a porus material that can be cleaned, flushed and blown clean in most cases.

The plug that you circled is just the drain plug. The plate that the plug is screwed into unbolts from the bottom of the frame and the filter is on the top side of the plate. Since you didn't know that was the drain plug, then I assume that you haven't changed the fluid. You will dump the fluid changing the filter anyway so my advice to change the fluid is probably not needed.

There is a early and late style filter, if the number cast into the plate starts out 29_ _ _ _ it is early, if it starts out 770_ _ _ _ it is the later style. One style comes with a gasket and the other style you will need to buy it extra.
