Hey Guys, Does anyone have a correct wiring diagram that I can use . Im restoring this tractor. Its a 1964 Ford 4000 Gas with a 12V GM alternator

Also this tractor has been sitting for around 8 years and the Hyd. don't function. I cahange all the oils and I rebuilt the Hyd. pump. I didn't see anything wrong with the pump when I took it apart . It looked normal. I have a new lift cover kit , but I haven't installed it as of yet . I took the plug out of the pump and bumped over the engine and there is fluid there. Any recommendations ? Thanks

I'm not sure why people go straight to rebuilding the hyd pumps on these machines when they find them with no 3pt after setting...

These machines use an unloader valve. if they stick, oil just flows to sump.

As for the diagram... these machines are easy to wire.

bat ground to ground.

bat hot to big hot side of start relay. other big side of relay to starter.

hot side of solenoid to insulator block on steering column. from there to key switch. from key switch, 3 wires. 1 to coil, the 2nd to the dash lamp, from the dash lamp to the #1 spade lug on the alternator. the 3rd to one of the 2 small posts on the start relay. Other small lug on start relay tot he trans mounted thumb starter switch.
#2 spade lug on alt to the charge lug. charge lug to the big hot side of the start relay.

if you have lamps, take a 2nd wire off the insulator block on the steering column to a fused lamp switch, from the switch to the lamps.

that's it for NON SOS gas models

Not many other places it could be.. since the hyd cyl and valving are all together.

I'm guessing you don't have a service manual.

Don't bother taking any bolts out of the top cover until you get a service manual please..
