Replaced power steering adapter, which is below the valve assembly now i have a lot of fluid coming out of the steering wheel. I we also replaced the gasket/ bushing right below the steering wheel, whats my problem now?

i'm not sure what a steering adapter is..

but on ps if you have oil coming out of the top column, it's a seal..

I have questions for you but as yet, no
answers.
By power steering adapter do you mean part
#12 in the diagram? I have seen those broken
before.
Did you install a new seal #14 in it to
prevent the lower steering Box from filling
with PS fluid and causing problems down the
road?
The gasket you mention, is it #22?
Did you replace the seal in the bottom of
the tube #35 - which is where it is now
leaking from? Did you install 2 new orings
#33?
The item you mention in the very top of the
tube is it #36?
If so, that is not a seal. It is a bushing
that holds the upper part of the steering
shaft in place.
PS, Here's a couple of attaboys for getting
this far. Lots of folks won't even try that
repair without a lot of hand wringing.

Also need to clean the inside of the column tube real good, any dirt, rust or paint chips can fall down in the new seal and cause it to leak. Learned that the hard way.

I had the same problem with my 3600. I replaced the seal no. 35 in picture and it fixed the leak.

Your valve might be bad but that's not the reason it's leaking from under the steering wheel.
How bout you give us a little more information.
Why did you replace the "power steering adapter"?
What part # is it?
What gasket did you replace?
Did you replace both the upper and lower seals as suggested?
What makes you think the hydraulic block may be bad?
They almost never go bad.
Did you disassemble it and clean it while you had things apart?
How did the seal area on the center shaft look?
Grooved? Pitted?
Does it need a speedi sleeve?
Those are very simple systems and we can help you fix it but we don't read minds here.
