960 fan

anyone know of a good replacement fan for my 960 that will match the bolt pattern but diameter less than 15.5 inches? lost a blade yesterday, lucky it didn't go through radiator

I maybe wrong but I would think that fan would be pretty much common on all tractors with the 172 engine other then maybe a diesel. Shoot this site even listed a fan for your tractor for $31.??

Hey Dave, I remember them having two different water pumps.
One with a pressed on pulley and one with a bolt on.
I don't remember if they take the same fan though.
I might have a used fan out here that will fit.
I'll take a look for ya tomorrow or this weekend if you like.

Do you have the original 3 blade fan (water pump, pulley and spacer are one piece)? Or has it been updated to the four blade fan (water pump and pulley are one piece spacer is a separate piece)?

that would be great, tractor is in upper peninsula of michigan, i broke down 2 miles from my cabin, i'm sure i looked like wolf bait on my walk back to the truck

Bad news Dave, I checked them against the 3 blade on my 960
and I don't have one that will work.
