I have a 3600 Ford farm tractor. I was unable to control the 3 pt. it would either be up or down. I drained the oil and it looked like it had moisture in it so took the cover off and it showed rust and some of the parts would not move. I replaced the ones that need replace and freed the others. I put it back together with new oil now the 3 pt will not raise unless I increase the RPM. When the 3 pt is raised it hold the position. So I drained the oil and put lighter oil in and the results is the same. This has the pump on the side of the motor along with the filter, which I replaced I need idea's on where the problem is and what I need to do to correct the problem.
