Having some trouble installing a loader valve on a 5640S Ford
I have a CCLS two spool joystick valve .... a correctly (i think) installed shuttle tee in the sensing line and i have teed into the pressure and return lines at the remotes.
The loader works fine but is not receiving combined flow from the pumps as the remotes do.
I can engage any remote (with nothing plugged in)and the loader speed doubles.
Thought i understood this system but I'm now scratching my head so if anyone can help??

I don't know... and I'm guessing nobody else does either judging by the lack of responses...
I suppose my first guess would be that the main pump load sensing valve is sticking and is perhaps only shifting when it gets full system
pressure applied to it.
Otherwise I'd have to assume there is a problem in the plumbing you've done or possibly a bad shuttle tee..
Are you sure you tee'd the supply line into the remote supply line that exits the rear of the priority valve pack and not into the aux pump
supply line in front of the priority pack? That's really the only other thing that I can think of right now...

Thanks for the reply Rod
The Prince 20 series valve had a drain orifice in the pilot fitting.
Plugged the orifice and everything works fine now.
I have since learned they are available both ways from prince but when i ordered it they didn't specify.
Its always the little things that get you I guess
