SOS PTO Handle

Ever since I repaired my interior PTO linkage the handle has not been tight on the cable. If I turn it on too far it will thread too much out of the interior fitting. Last time I went to use it the handle pulled out. There is no set screw on the handle as you would expect. What is supposed to keep it on the cable end? I suppose that blue Loctite would work.

IIRC it is held in place by a roll pin.

I'm having trouble deciphering your meaning. Are you saying the shaft that the T handle attaches to is coming off the cable?

Yes, 1/8" roll pin. I temporarily have a cotter pin in until I know I'm done taking the hood off and my wiring is all A-OK.
