I'm not directly familiar with the series III so I can't say with certainty. So take this for what it cost you........
I don't think there's much difference. Later engines got rotary injection pumps. Little differences. I do not think there would be any functional difference in the tractors.
Not all markets got the series III. 'Here' they all remained Force II until the 40 series was released.

Been years since a drove one in the UK, but iirc, series 3 got an digital dash instead of traditional gauges, I think the dual power switch moved to between the clutch and brake pedals, and the 3 may have had a digital read out for the 3 point hitch
