I have seen posts about tractor prices being crazy. I am near Traverse City, MI and it seems that most used tractor prices are high around here. Then you see something like the attached, and sure it needs some work, but for the price you are getting much more tractor than an "N" series for the same money. Now, I'm not knocking an N in any way shape or form, just amazed when I see them advertised on my local craigslist for the same or higher money than a later model tractor. The attached is not mine, and I do not know the seller. Just seems like could be a good deal for somebody looking for a worker. Maybe the ring gear for the starter is a deal breaker, but really not that big a deal to split and take care of.
