It seems the PTO is leaking how much work are they to replace? It looks like a easy job. Is there a repair kit available for the shaft if needed?

Drain the rear end oil; unbolt the 4 bolt housing and slip the shaft out. There is a coupler in the hydraulic compartment that is accessed through the dipstick housing if the coupler falls off the "wrong shaft". There is a seal between the hydraulic and rear end compartments. There should be very little end to end play with the bearing; I have seen 2 bearing carriers with the cast iron broke out allowing the bearing race to walk.
