Fuel injection issue ford 4600

I started my tractor today and it was leaking gas. It never did this before. After taking the battery off I noticed a hose to the left of the fuel injectors. The hose had another hose in it and then part of it went no where and the other part I can't tell where it goes. Needless to say the spot where the hoses are connected is where the gas is pouring out of. How is the hoses supposed to be hooked up after the last injector? Why would it be leaking now but not before? I can include a picture if needed.

Since you're talking about injectors, I'm assuming you mean diesel was leaking, rather than gas. From your description, it sounds like the leakoff line has gotten disconnected or
broken. After the last injector, it should go up to the neck of the fuel tank. The originals were nylon; most of us use fuel-rated hose.

I am a bit of a novice.I meant diesel fuel. The fuel line has a smaller hose in it that branches off to the fuel tank and somewhere else. Why would a smaller hose go into a fuel hose and not have any connector holding it together? That is where it is leaking from. I could put a barb on it and some clamps and it should seal it right?

If that line branches off, it's likely going to a
Thermostart. The nylon lines didn't use clamps; they
were stretched over their fittings and their memory
created a tight fit and seal, much like Pex water lines.
If one of the nylon lines was connected to a hose,
someone else has done some repairs.
