We've had D9NN1036CA rear wheel centers (bought from this site, no problems with fit or finish). There are 3 holes drilled around the edges, on 16-1/2" centers. Are these for mounting ring-style wheel weights? BTW, I see that Tisco's pictures for the same centers show 4 holes, but that doesn't really matter right now.
Reason for asking - I'm planning. At some point, will have to replace CaCl-rusted rims. I want to reload the tires but with windshield washer fluid, not CaCl. To make up the difference, am thinking about adding one or two ring-style weights to each side - if they fit. I've found some that have the 16-1/2" hole spacing but I don't know if they'll fit the dished part of the disc. But if ring weights are usually meant for dished centers, then I might take the chance to buy them.
I know - Ford OEM pie weights are the best. But they're way pricey around here and too often are missing pieces even at those prices.
As always, thanks.
