I have had to replace the bat every 3 years on my 3000
That's a heavy price to pay for more bat than a gasser needs so I converted it to a 48/h6. It was the best fit for the tray and the easiest to make a hold down for. If it does not make it 3 years it has a 3 year free replacement warranty
I got around to adding the battery disconnect it was one of my winter projects but I have been to busy to work on my own chit.
This is a mock up pix I sandblasted the tray and parts painted them and hope to get them installed tomorrow on company time

BTW I keep all those RED/black plastic terminal caps you see on the top of the bat to shield the terminals when working around a bat that has been disconnected... DON"T THROW THEM AWAY...
