Dual rear wheels

Never seen anything like these before. Must be home made. I wonder how you can get the inner lug nuts tight enough. They don't show a picture from the back side. Wonder what do you use for studs for the outer wheel?

I would think they may have be use to narrow the tractor as in a vineyard model. Instead of cutting the
axle/trumpets just move the wheels in.The countersink for the lug nuts is on the wrong side. Agree probably home
made.

Using these to narrow a tractor makes sense. I wish they had a picture of the wheels from the back to see if the original center was still in place, or if the center was cut out and moved. I bet that the extended center was cut out and moved.

Moving the wheels that far in if possible would require removing the fenders and rubbing elbows with the tires! Moving them out that far would sure give a lcg.

I don't think they were made to be inside duals. It doesn't look like they would clear the brake drums.

I agree. They look like they might fit as outside duals even with the inner wheels set to their widest setting.

I think that they may be counter sunk on both sides to use a double beveled acorn nut on the inside wheel.

I wonder if they could be used to narrow one of the newer
tractors with the more center mounted wet brakes.
The wheel centers are scalloped like they were Ferguson or
later model Ford than the N series. Hard to say without looking.
