The proofmeter drive was repaired and works great pump works great. Lift is still not working. Removed lift cover and cleans hydraulic tank found a metal cap in tank that I have no idea where it came from (see picture) removed main control valve and it was full of black coffee ground looking stuff and water. Blew air in main control valve and cleaned it real good and it was working great. Also blew air in where the inlet into the lift cover and main lift piston was moving ok too. So I decided to put it back together and see if it would work? Filled with new TSC Trans / hydraulic fluid replaced o-rings on lift cover and accessory plate. Primed system and still nothing works at all.

Just had the same problem, after rebuilding the pump, draining and cleaning out the entire system, and all the valves, I found I missed the
unloading valve, and it was stuck in the open position, I built a tool out of 1/2 x 24 all thread machine threaded, and 3 nuts and pulled the
unloading valve, cleaned the hole and the valve and it slides in and out quite easily now, as for that cap I didn't see anything that looked like
that, I included the parts pages for you to view.

Do you have a picture of the tool you made?
And I opened the plate on the bottom and I think I see what you are talking about but it is stuck in the up position or I guess the open position. I think you are right.

I can't say I recognize the plug you found, but here is the tool I used to remove the unloader valve plug. You could easily substitute a steel plate for the bearing separator. I stacked up washers to make the separator perpendicular to the plug. Threaded in a bolt (it was fine thread, I think 3/8") and it tightened it to remove the plug. I had to add a few more washers under the separater to get the plug completely out.

After what you guys suggested I went ahead and took everything apart and found missing o-rings and no leather seal on piston and the pump
pressure relief valve under the tractor with the small inspection plate was very pitted. Ordered parts I needed and I got it all back together
yesterday and filled it with fluid and primed the pump. I started the tractor and everything is working great. Oh did I mention that I adjusted the
linkage on the touch control in draft position and while I had everything tore apart too I made a measuring tool and two gauges to make the
adjustments. And the touch control works great no jumping or shaking and no drift on the 3 point. Thanks guys I could not have done it without
y'all help. Thanks again.
