My 961 has had a leaky power steering cylinder since the day I brought it home a few years ago. It drips out underneath the two way valve.
As part of my spring maintenance I decided to put in seals in it, which was pretty straightforward. The two "cup" seals and two 0-rings in the main body were replaced (and lubed with fluid so the shouldn't have torn). Put everything back together, and it still leaks!!
It seems like the only way for hydraulic fluid to get into the two value is to be getting past the cup seal.
Am I missing something? Is it possible that the rod is just worn down too much?
Thanks!
