I have a Ford 4000, at least the sheet metal
The stamped model no. On the flat is 861-D, but it's a gasser, so at least some things have been changed.
The main needle valve on the carb goes up from below and has fallen out. There is no number tab on the carb. The carbs on my 800 and 900have the main needle valve on the top so are not the same carb. I believe they changed the carb when they went to the 4000. Any thoughts on how to determine the model for a rebuild kit. Or might a kit fit various models. Thx in advance. Ron
