1953 ford jubilee

Restoring 53 jubilee,almost ready to go but 3 point will not lift. Tried a couple things,put oil in top of pump,nothing,put air from dipstick hole to hole port on top of pump,nothing,anything else I might be missing??

Did you pressurize the hydraulic sump like in this video?
I didn't understand what you wrote.

you aren't in an area where water is still froze is it?

do you have oil in the hydraulic sump?

if no freeze, and yes to oil, remove the plug on the top / head of the pump and then start engine at idle and pressurize hyds to see if you get oil aout the top of the pump.

if yes, see if you get oil on the small option cover under the seat ( small plug there too ), after replacing plug in pump.

if you get oil at both of those places but no lift, then the problem is very likely in the valve-in-cyl chunk under the seat. could be unlaoder stuck 'unloaded'.

post back more info though first.

Yep, did this already and with engine stopped and running, nothing coming out of plug on top of hydraulic unit pump?? Filled pump also with no response.

No ice here in the northwest and unit is full of fresh oil??

is the pump up on the engine actually turning? the gear that meshes with the flywheel may be damaged or spinning on the shaft

also make sure its not sucking air anywher either at the pump or the tubes that run outside from the pump down to the housing under the tractor if its getting air it wont work

Well,the tach head is spinning so guessed that was to?? Any other way to tell??

Done this with no results,kept it there for a couple minutes on about 40 lbs air pressure,no results??

Are you sure you have oil on the dip stick right side under the seat.
