172 diesel counterbalancer timing

Hey all,
I am an Ag Mechanics teacher at a local high school.

Can anyone tell me how to time the counterbalancer when reinstalling.
I have a 172 diesel on a 871 ford.
Had to pull crank to have it polished and put in new bearings.
Now I don't know how to time the counterbalancer when I re-install.
