Recently traded for a 1959 ford 641 Workmaster. With a little work got her up and running and she runs great!! Problem I ran into is I came diagonal off a slight hill in my yard which levels out once I hit the driveway. I'm assuming what happened was when the front wheels leveled on the driveway, and the rear of the tractor still tilted on the hill, the front axle kissed the cooling fan blade which in turn blew into pieces taking the radiator with it. I checked my water pump which I already knew the bearings were bad and needed replaced but don't see enough play to affect clearances. I'm a mechanic by trade but new to older tractors so I'm just racking my brain trying to figure out why this happened. Anyone ever see this before? Thanks!!
