Ford 660 Double Clutch Fit Parts fitment question with PICS

I'm finally getting to the basket case 660 I bought probably 5 years + ago..


I'm using an alignment tool that I have from when I replaced the double clutch in my 861 a few years ago.
Shown below:







The issues or concern I have is that it's appears to be to long. I recall this engaging both set of splines on my 861's clutch but looking back at pictures the 861 clutch had some raised ears on it.

Are these the correct parts or do I have a mix match of stuff that was thrown in the bin that could be from wrong machines?
Thoughts? I certainly appreciate your input.

Well that's the thing.. I don't have any background on it... It was in a crate of stuff.. I didn't have that little thing when I bolted it to the flywheel.. And I did end up bolting it up to the transmission but in it's current state I'm not sure how to tell if it's working properly. I can't really see where it ever hits the inner levers/dogs when I took off the steering box and tried with a flashlight while moving the clutch pedal. I bolted it up to make it easier to transport and well it's sat since.. Until now.. I hope to get it going in less than a month barring no major issues or murphy visits.......
 

Well I guess straight from this site is also confirms what you were saying it is not needed.

311435K Clutch Kit 311435K_
Kit contains 9", 15 spline drive disc w/29 spline double pressure plate 311435 assembly, includes pilot bearing C5NN7600A and release bearing 83914247. Note: Pilot Tool is not included and not needed in this kit. For live PTO double clutch models (1955 to 1964). Tractors: 600, 700, 800, 900, 2000 4 cylinder, 4000 4 cylinder, Dexta, Super Dexta.
 
Well go the motor back in and lined up.... Put the clutch pedal and rod back in. The lower set of arms do get engaged when I look at it thru the steering hole on top....


Now to just find and get all the little odds and ends etc.
Anyone know where I can get 2 more of these big studs that help put on the front bolster thing?
 
WEll got the front axle back on here.... Also took the PTO out to change the shaft over to 1 3/8s. That is also done. Put my order in for all the parts for the steering box rebuild. Hopefully that that completed this week sometime if my parts arrive soon as this is a short week. Then off to the engine accessories, water pump, t-stat, manifold, carb and a temp fuel tank and radiator.....
