Powermaster 801 w/Loader towing weight

I recently picked up a Powermaster 851D with a loader. Now that I have had a few days of no rain my repairs and maintenance are complete and it's time to put her to work. Next step is renting an equipment trailer and moving her about 200 miles to my property. However I can only guess at the weight of this tractor. TractorData.com lists the base tractor weight as 3500 pounds. How do I estimate:

Wheel weights: Fresno FR-23
Water filled tires
Loader: Mid Western Industries #102
Bucket

It appears to be just water. No white residue from spillage and no taste. I just need a good estimate so I can rent the proper towing equipment, +/- 200lbs or so.

Nice looking tractor.
Diesel makes it especially nice.
I'm thinking you'll do fine with a 7K lb
tandem axle "car hauler".
2" ball, F150 or C1500 pickup.

A 7K trailer will haul it, but it will probably be overweight unless the trailer is less than 2K tare.

more than 5k, closer to 6k

I've hauled many similar on 7k trailers....overweight?..probably.
You know your route.
Renting a trailer? might as well go a little bigger.

Watch the weight distribution. problem with many 7k trailers is they are too short.
had a buddy move my loader, filled tire, 650 recently on a 7k trailer. (short haul)
Getting there, he said "that thing is heavier than it looks....should have backed it on"
The front loaders length had the loaded tires too far back and it was 'wagging' his 8' box, 4-door, diesel F250.

compare to when my son borrowed my roughly 5k Kubota, the trailer he borrowed was a 12k I think. His reg cab 1/2 ton GMC 4x4 didn't even know it was back there. Kubota looked like a toy on that trailer but it towed nice.

Thank you for the quick replies. My WAG was 6K for the tractor + 2K for the trailer... fairly close to your estimates. The guy I purchased it from delivered it for me and said it defenately handled better backed onto the trailer, so that point is well taken. He also said it pulled more than he remembered. I will go ahead and install a class V hitch on my old Dodge (87 Cummins... sweet ) and get the largest trailer I can locate. It's a difficult drive the last 30 miles so I am being cautious.

The tow went without incident but was touch and go on inclines. I rented a 7k trailer that was much heaver than I anticipated so I was overweight for my vehicle. The trailer was too short, positioning the weight took several attempts. With the trailer backed on as suggested the tongue weight nearly lifted the truck front wheels! For proper trailer weight distribution I ended up with the tractor facing forward with the loader bucket resting on the trailer frame. Even so the tongue weight was as much as the 3/4 ton pickup could handle. Perhaps the most unexpected thing was the surge brakes. They worked great at stopping but were difficult to disengage at startup, especially on an incline. Getting going from a stop light on a San Francisco hill was all the truck could handle. At that point I was really regretting not having the transmission serviced as precaution. Bottom line, the trailer was too short but would handle the weight, use a truck with more towing capacity than a 98 Dodge.
