2000 proofmeter

The needle broke off some years ago and the hours haven't worked for a long time. Can they be repaired? Gauges and lights are OK.

Seems like there was someone in Florida that rebuilds.May be in archives. Why not buy a new one unless your wanting it to be original?

Larry - From the "gauges and lights are OK" I would assume that it's a 3 cylinder, but then again, you know what happens when you assume.

I have a 1973 Ford 2000, 3 cylinder gas tractor. The hour meter hasn't worked since I bought it about 15 years ago, but I don't care. A couple of months ago the tachometer started sticking and registering wrong RPMs. I bought a new, replacement gauge cluster from a local guy for about $75.00. I haven't installed it yet, but I hope to do so before Spring.

It might be cheaper to replace the cluster than to have your hour meter repaired.
