Correct proofmeter for 640

I am restoring a late 56 model 640 and am wondering what the correct proofmeter is supposed to look like. I have seen different ones for 4 speed tractors, with either a white or black center, not to mention the various types and colors of needles. If anyone has an original 640 or know exactly what it is supposed to look like I would appreciate the info before I pull the trigger on ordering one. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. That is the one I thought it would be, but I couldn't eliminate the one with the white center. Is this just carelessness by the people that do the reproductions or is it for a specific machine, i.e. NAA or 01 series? Along with the two different faces, have seen 4 different needles (black, white, orange and the numbered one), not to mention black versus stainless crimp rings. The one on eBay with the original type numbered needle has a black ring. That makes it even more complicated if you want all the gauges to match as it seems they probably did when new.

Why? To the best of my knowledge al pre '65 Ford tractors had black bezels only on all gauges.

Almost all the aftermarket gauges I have seen have stainless bezels along with most of the 4 speed proofmeters, except the one with the OEM type needle. I wasn't even sure what the original bezel color was. I replaced the proofmeter in my 850 about 10 years ago and it has the black bezel but I never knew what was original. I've had it since 1976, but even then you couldn't tell it was in such bad condition. Definitely not stainless, though. I have Stewart Warner gauges in it since it is a working tractor and I cared more about reliability and accuracy than originality. Then again, there always is the black spray bomb option ....

That is what I thought, but wasn't sure since there are so many variations on them. I was already watching it and is probably the one I'm going to get. Thanks again for the info.
