I’m looking to replace the high pressure PS hose on my 66 3cyl 4000, as it is original and showing age. I’d like to keep the original style rubber and steel hose instead of an all rubber replacement, as the tractor was my dad’s. The nearest shop that could replace the rubber is quite some distance and I really don’t have the time to make the trip, etc. Yes, I have tried NAPA and other local shops, who say they no longer build hoses.
Messick’s has the part, C5NN3A541A, listed two ways, as a New Holland part at $195.94 and a Case IH part at $132.04. The parts have the exact same number, description, and weight. There is no photo for either part.
Has anyone run into this before? Could the part just be cheaper under a Case listing?
