68 Ford 4000 Preheater tank

Part Number C5NN9N425B. Looking for a source for the preheater tank, other than paying the $142 plus tax and shipping from FNH.
This is the little return line tank for diesels that feeds the cold weather primer start.

Anyone have a used one or know where one is located/

You don't need it.
The 36/4600 and newer don't have one.
They just put a tee in the return line and worked it that way. There is enough fuel in the line itself to do the job.
I would at least try it before shelling out the dough for the tank.

I do have one, if you're interested. But Ultradog is right - try it without first.

Install the tee higher up the line, closer to fuel cap to hold more fuel, for longer preheats if you want.
