7710 controls

Getting a 1982 english ford 7710 with cab, 16x8 transmission and having a front loader put on. The only other tractor I have ever used is a 1972 english diesel ford 3000 8x2 transmission.

The 7710 has a lot more controls (levers and buttons) than I am used to. Can someone please explain to me how to operate this tractor? What control are the same/different/similar to what I am used to?

Thanks.

I suggest purchasing an owner's manual - as a bonus you'd get maintenance info as well. I seriously doubt anyone here has the time to type out all of the info you're looking for.

Everything should be pretty self explanatory. Have
your high low and park shifter your 1-4 and 5-8
shifter hand throttle and foot throttle 3pt and I
believe a draft selector and probably two hydraulic
remotes and the high low dual power between the
clutch and brakes. Best I remember they are laid
out almost identical to the 700 series (7700, 8700,
9700). You might try you tube if you're having
trouble with anything

Not quite. There was no park position on that transmission. The range shifter included reverse so that there were 4 reverse gears with a dual power split for each. The dual power was electronically shifted with a toggle switch, later replaced with a rocker switch on the series II tractors; both located on the dash board.
