Do I wanto tackle this: 183 CUIN diesel in 4100

Needs rebore and pistons, parts seem hard to impossible to find. Is this 4.2 bore good to bore to
4.4 Inch, any options appreciated. thanks fred

Don't know why parts would be hard to find.

Would not bore to 4.4", as you might end up with some pretty thin cylinder walls and potential porosity problems.

You aren't using the right search terms when you look for the rebuild kit. Take a look at this one for instance. The terms I used to find that were "rebuild kit 183 ford 4100 diesel" and Google came up with 20,000 hits. Note that I have no connection to Jensales nor any other kit vendor.
