Ford 3000 Hydraulic Pump

Friend of mine has a 1968 Ford 3000 with the 3 cylinder gas engine. He is experiencing a leak at the hydraulic pump, end of pump towards the front of the tractor or driven end of pump.
There is a hole at the end of the pump with what appears to be a set screw inset. Attempted to remove the screw with no success. The hydraulic fluid has to be replenished during the
working season, volume about three gallons. However, the oil that leaks out is dirty, like motor oil despite the fact that the motor oil level does not vary from full. Is a pump rebuild
the answer or are we looking at something else? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Leaking o-ring, part #42 in the attached picture. Pump rebuild not required.
