Value - Loader

I have decided not to put my loader back on my 4000.

Wondering what the value of just the loader would be if I were to sell it?

Its all in solid shape, no leaks and all but one or two of the hoses are brand new. Bucket is in solid shape.

I plan on keeping my brackets and pump in case I decide to use it for something else, just wanting to get rid of the loader, no need in it rotting in the back yard. Cylinders are all in good shape, the two mains have been repacked recently.

tell us what loader it is. but as mentioned.. if you are keeping the 2 most important pieces, the brackets and the pump.. then, depending on model, you just have a few hundred bucks of metal with some cyls on it.

I picked up my Freeman loader for $200.00. It was basically just the frame, arms and bucket, as the control valve had been removed and there was no pump either, the the original hard lines had the ends cut off of them, and the cylinder rods were so pitted that it was cheaper to replace the cylinders. Cost me another $500.00 or so to put new cylinders, lines and control valve on it, all from surpluscenter.com. If I had added a pump that would have been the most expensive part, instead I got a power beyond plate and run the loader from the tractor hydraulics. It's a little slow, but strong as an ox, and I don't use it that often so the speed doesn't bother me too much.

So if everything is there except the pump and in as good a condition as you say, then it could be worth $500.00 to $600.00 to someone, but it might sit for a while on craigslist before you find the right buyer at that price. The lower the price you set the quicker it will go.

Which industrial do you have?
If it's the light ind. then it would fit
most any 600,800,etc and sell well. But
keeping some parts - pump, etc - would
devalue the loader badly.
If the heavy ind. then the way the loader
attaches to the frame on the tractor it
would fit nothing else and would likely not
sell well as all someone would really be
able to use are the lift arms, cylinders and
bucket so I would just keep it in case you
changed your mind.
So I think it's all or none.
A complete, good working loader that fits a
Hundred Series would be worth about $800 if
I were to swag the value.
