MS Carb ID on Ford 641

I want to make sure I'm reading the carburetor tag correctly so I know the MS model number if/when I need to get a rebuild kit. My tractor is a 1958 Ford 641. The brass tag on the side of the MS carburetor has the numbers: "55" and then below: "593"

I think this means it is TSX-593. That model number does not look like one that was originally installed on a 641, so, the original might have been replaced.

Am I identifying the carb correctly?

I thought I would post a picture of the tag on the side of the carburetor. Hopefully this helps to ID it.

My catalog says that is a carb made for an 800/900 series but the carb kit part number is the same for the correct one and the one you have. Me I use the Walker Brand kits I buy at my Local O'Reilly's auto parts store for around $20 and if I remember right the kit number is 778-505A

there are basically 2 kits for the ford 600- 801 fords, large bowl and small bowl, the 600 -800 and 601s have the small bowl the 801s have the large bowl

You're right, it has been replaced and is a 593.
The "55" is the year, which really won't matter.
If/when you need it, buy the kit for a TSX-593.
You ought to be getting plenty of fuel!
