961 wheel weight brackets

Question for the experts here. I recently picked up a set of pie weights for my 961 to help with plowing snow. After putting on the wheel stud adapters, the holes in the brackets/plates don't line up.

Did they make these plates for different bolt patterns?

The measuring the stud spacing on the tractor measures 6" , the holes in the plate appear to be less then 6", more like the 5 3/4 or 5/ 7/8 range.

Am I missing something simple or just need to find new brackets/plates?

Have you tried rotating the mounting plate in different radial positions? I ran into the same thing and had to rotate the base plate a few
different times to find the best line for it to fit. The cast mounting plates are not very precise, and the male stud of the special mounting bolts
may not be very concentric to the female tapped hole and the positions can vary.
