Sherman transmission from NAA fit into 850 ford?

Just pondering different possibilities with assembling a tractor here of our various parts machines and was wondering if the Sherman out of and NAA will fit in an 850, I know later Ford's were available with Sherman's but didn't know if they were a different model

No.

A Sherman auxiliary transmission can only be used with a four speed main transmission.

Thanks Dean, I had just come to a simular conclusion as I was looking at the 5 speed input shaft pictures on ebay and noticed they are considerably shorter
