water pump question

just picked up a 960, waterpump bearing seems just a touch sloppy, if you grab the fan there is slight movement, would this be
easily rebuildable?

Your probably better off to replace the pump since to rebuild one can be hard to do. I have tried to rebuild a couple an all of them I have ended up having break when I tried to press the parts out

15 years ago I remember my father standing at the parts counter being insistent on just wanting the shaft for his Ford NAA water pump, he wasn't going to buy a whole water pump until the dealer explained brought out both which he had in stock and pointed out that just the shaft assembly was 8 bucks MORE than the complete water pump which came with the gasket too
