noise in hydraulic lift cover

While discing with my Jubilee a squeal developed in the hydraulic system and seems to come from the lift cover. The disc was quite heavy, but the lift seemed to handle it easily
at first, then the noise started. The pump is a replacement from TOH. Before dismantling the system, what should I look for? The squeal occurs only during the lift and then
ends when the arms are fully up. Could it be a leak around the O ring on the piston? Email is open. Thanks. Dr. Bert

Relief valve maybe opening up just a tad bit and making that noise.

yup, relief's will squeal when passing a small amount of fluid.
