I have a ford 7000 with a ford loader on it. Thinking of upgrading to a 7700. Would the loader off of the 7000 fit the 7700? If not what is a good loader for a 7700? Thanks

Very unlikely if your 7000 is a utility model. Possible, if the 7000 is a rowcrop, although there were a lot of changes between the 7000 r.c. (7200) and 7700.
Lots of good loaders out there. I'm partial to Westendorf. Their wwbsite (loaders.com) can help you find which of their models will fit.

As ford farmer said.. there are row crops and all purpose models... If both the 7000 is a platform or row crop model, it will be a perfect fit.

With out measuring, I am gonna stick my neck out and guess here, and I may step in it,, but... I believe the mounting holes are the same but the distances between a row crop and all purpose are different. The early ford mounts would reverse to allow it to bolt on to both models... Again I apologize, as I need to really measure the difference between the row crop holes and all purpose holes.. but the holes are the same on both, just a bit longer on the row crop from the rear to the front IIRC.... However the rowcrops can be taller off the ground again... IIRC....

The 5600/6700 loader transmission mounts.. allowed the loader mount to be adjusted forwards and backwards to allow for this. and this bracket could even be reversed to a forward reach.. for a longer Tractor. Some of the later mounts were welded and fixed and would NOT adjust.

Maybe someone will chime in here that has actually measured the length differences.
