This single remote is on a '68 5200 row crop tractor. The steel line in the second pic has cracked about an eighth of a inch away from the base and about half way down on the arrow side.
If I remove the valve base and the plate it attaches to on the top plate to send to hydraulic shop, what are the chances the other three steel lines will survive for another ten years?
Should I have the steel lines changed to hoses?
Dual remotes would be better for me. What options should I consider for replacement instead of repair. I have been searching "remote hydraulics" on this site. Is there a better term to search for. Sorry for my ignorance but thanks for the help. A functioning tractor is more important to me than a correctly restored tractor.
