Low hour 3600

Hard to say... mix of old paint and new paint so it could be anything from a deal to a mutt. running boards and pedals have new paint along with hood?? Probably had a new tach put in at some point. Gasket under tach is hanging out. Not saying its bad, but ALWAYS... beauty is only spray can deep. Ugly is all the way to the poor house. Check it over, under, and in between...

I agree that it looks legit. I see a lot of parts that would look worn and weathered if the shiney paint was not original.

It is probably fairly low houred but I don't especially believe that it's THAT low. Tachs are notorious for breaking cables on those things.
Tires look to have probably been changed. Muffler is obviously missing. Seat has been changed. For a tractor that has spent it's life in a garage it should not have had either the muffler or seat replaced in that amount of use. 2k hours use... then probably yes.
I'm sure it's a perfectly good tractor but it's far over priced in my opinion considering it hasn't even got power steering.... the only salvation is if those implements are worth a lot more there than here. Otherwise I can't see it drawing much more than 7-8 K with all that gear.

I looked at this ad maybe a day ago, then saw some others here, thought I'd add it in, went and found it again. More than likely a nice one, but there are the things you mentioned. The lack of power steering... it would have to sell for less, wonder what it would involve to add it? Steering box, pump, lines, cylinders, radius rods or drag links, even feasible to complete a seemingly nice one like this ?

I agree with Rod - those are not very likely original hours. Look at the picture of the dash - you can see the dash gasket misplaced. It's been out at least once before.

the battery carrier has been replaced... the air pipe infront of the battery carrier looks like it went through wwII and Korea... and again running boards are TOO clean and have been touched up... compared the the shot of the front axle... It definitely has makeup on or at least the picture,, but again, that doesnt mean anything one way or the other... check it good...

Aftermarket power steering kits can be had for around $500 bucks plus or minus..... but they are "power assist", and you can outrun them if you turn too fast. I have several of them and they work as well as the 3000 series steering did. x600 and x610 series did have better steering.

I did see that gasket. You know it seems with later ones like the 4630 I recently acquired, the tachometer cable did have a label on it, year too, but there's a lot of years between these, that could tip you off, mine was intact, though anything like that could be switched as well.

Rod, Not so sure about seat! That is an OEM deluxe seat, and can't imagine anyone spending the bucks to buy a new OEM! I priced just the seat cushion and back a few years ago, and the 2 were going to cost right around 500 bucks! I ended up buying an after market seat, and putting the cushions, from it, on my original suspension!
