Can anyone tell me what this is on my 4610? It's on
the intake pipe, I thought it was a air preheater, but
the key switch has no preheat on it, is it to tell you
the air filter is dirty? Iv been around this tractor for
25 years and never used a pre heat, if it is a pre heater how does it work, or how do you know it's working? I have a block
heater on lt.

Looking at New Holland parts, it looks like an air cleaner restriction sensor. Filter gets dirty, a red light or something on your dash should come on.
 
Thanks guys, I figured that's what it might be, but someone told me it was a intake pre heater, needles to say the person who told me this was wrong about many other things to! Lol
