It says 5000 on the hood decal. Serial #C228233. Is it 5200 or 5600 or??? It is a row crop tractor with w/ftr

I am needing remote valve control linkage assy.

No ,it is not a straddle tractor. Sits high,not like a utility model.

The serial number cannot tell you what model it is. They made multiple models at the same assembly line and used the next serial number for the next tractor no matter what the model.

Near the serial number should be two other numbers, one of those will start with either 510, 520, E10 or E20. If the second character is a 1 then it is a general purpose ag chassis. If the second character is a 2 then it is a row crop chassis.

It may be a 'high crop' model. Basically a 5000 utility model with rowcrop spindles and 38" rear tires. I've only run across two or three of them.
I posted a picture of one here a few years ago. Haven't figured out how to do that when I'm posting using my phone, or I'd post it again. The picture is on photobucket, if you want to look for it.

If it has a "flat" floor instead of straddle running boards, then you probably have a row crop or 52xxxx model and with will have much different linkage going to the remotes. It will have different steering and different linkage for pedals. Mechanicals will be the same as the all purpose model. I know later row crops had the big dash or instrument panel, but I cant remember if the early 5200 did or did not. Its been a while since I have seen one. As others have said, its a 5000 series and the 5600 series came after the 5000 series.
