Replacement Headlights and Worklight Queston

I need to replace the missing headlights on my 66 3cyl 4000 utility, I prefer an original type replacement or one that appears original. What do you guys recommend?

I'd also like to get your opinions on lighting options for when I mount it's 727 loader.

Also, the tractor has the original round tail light and flashing amber lollipop light with switch at the base on the left fender, but no rear worklamp. What should it have had, and where can I find one?

Thanks,

Scott

This all assumes that your tractor was assembled in the US and had the headlights sticking out the the sides of the nose of the tractor. The European made tractors of the same series and time period had the headlights inset in the lower grill.

The part number for the headlight assembly is 310068, and it is still available via either that part number or it's replacement part number, 47434042, at any New Holland dealer. You will probably also need the round "adapter" base, which is sold separately, part number 83925315, as well as the Reinforcement, which looks like a large flat washer, plus a lock washer and nut, 1 of each for each headlight, part numbers FAA13102A, 80679 and 280963 respectively.

That model/year only came with the one tail light, which should have been a tail light with a flasher in it also.

There were a couple of different rear work/implement lights available as dealer installed options, but it wouldn't have come from the factory with one.

Sean,

Thanks for the comprehensive reply, and I don't know why I didn't review the CNH parts book first.

That said, the're really proud of those CNH headlights, aren't they! I've refurbished original headlight buckets before, so maybe I can find a good used set someplace.

Thanks again,

Scott
