steering box leak

my 4000 has a leak from behind the pitman arm can I replace the seal with out tearing down the steering box?

this 4000 is a '64 model and power steering the leak is gear oil and it is only seeping on the left side.

pump it full of "double aught" grease. Same as corn head grease, or snapper lawn mower transmission grease. If that leaks then pump it full of regular grease.

Yes you ca fix it without tearing down the box.
You have to remove the steering arm which can sometimes be a pain.
Then dig the old seal out and install a new one.
