Yesterday I attended day 1 of the huge Rufus Kenagy estate sale near Garden City,MO..It was the largest farm sale that I have ever attended with 10 acres of stuff...He had 10-15 of everything..

1-Ford 5000 with loader-$3950

2-Ford 7600- $3700

Wow, those tractors wouldn't sit very long in my area for those prices, they would have been on somebody's trailer in 10 minutes flat....
 
Both rowcrops, and both CHEAP! The 5000 would have brought about $1000 more here, and the 7600 probably $2000 more.
That 7600 rowcrop was a 1976 only model.
 
I should have bought the 7600, cheap, but I have too many blue mules around here now. it had a miss , but probally just am injector , or need warming up. took cab off and put fenders on , cleaned it up , double the money
 
Yep, you ahould have got it. I noticed the 7600 has the "tall" air cleaner on it, my 5000 has the same one and i absolutely hate it, makes it a pain in the butt driving down the road trying to see around it and the muffler too, thinking about lowering mine down to top of the hood....
 

loader tractor with paint would have bought 9k...or better, the cab tractor with paint about the same.
